What is HRVY?
HRVY= Honouring Resiliency in Vulnerable Youth.
The HRVY Project is a community-based initiative for early intervention and crime prevention.
HRVY is committed to creating inclusive, engaging, and impactful programs through wraparound supports and services for youth.
Our three key focus areas include:
- prevention education for youth and the community as a whole
- mentorship through pro-social activities
- wraparound intervention supports and services
Our Approach
A youth centered approach targeting key social development domains including: individual, family, peer, social, community, and digital.
HRVY inspires youth to engage in prosocial activities, boost academics, prioritize wellbeing, and develop resilience. By collaborating resources, we aim to cultivate optimism and a brighter future for youth.
We operate by a three step process:
- Referral process- Prevention/intervention
- Social development domain- Exploration
- Matched and connected to a HRVY support worker
